Happy Birthday Sammi!

Happy Birthday to my little Sammi (Miniature Schanuzer)!! She turns 6 today! How crazy is that, it seems like yesterday I was holding you in my arms as a puppy!!
For her celebration we were going to go to The Three Dog Bakery, but ended up just going to the dog park instead. And let me tell you, Sammi isn't the best.. On a leash. She barks her head off and then gets the others in on it too. So, once we hooked their leashes on and opened he car door, her and Jack (Miniature Schanzuer) ran out! To make matters worse Jack ended up getting tangled in it all, and was dragged around by the birthday girl.
Once all the untangling was finished and Sammi finished barking her head off, we managed to get the two into the park area where they could run free for a bit. And to add on to the excitement, a beautiful sunset formed!!! So pretty!
Sammi didn't do much wondering (shocker....) and stayed by us most of the time, but Jack ran around greeting the other humans and dogs there! Here's some cute pics:
"Where're we going?!?!"
SUNSET!!
"Is it time to leave yet??:/"
The park was out of water so the dogs had to suffer in the heat for a bit until we got them home. Boy were they thirsty!
"I'm pooped!"
All in all, Sammi had a wonderful birthday! Up next is Jacks!!
Happy Birthday my classy girl c:

Apologies and Dew Nail and Dog Park!

And It's been awhile since I've posted huh! No, I haven't died. No, I haven't forgotten about this wonderful blog that I've only made like four posts on. I meant to write something on Monday, then that turned to Tuesday, and now here we are. Friday night, typing away. The Saturday and Sunday were taken from me able to post, I visited my grandmother and had no access to my awkward little pups- though she did have a little character of her own.

Anyway!!

You know thoughs little nails that hang above the paw? The dew nail? Their stupid right, what are they for? I like to think of them as little thumbs for them. What I find off, is that George (Shorkie Tzu) managed to crack his, right where the vein is. It explained his random outburts of fighting with the others when they got near- they stepped on his paw (if one part hurts, the whole thing must ache, am I right?) and since we had no clue that his dew claw had a crack, he was in deep doo doo. Now we know though!!

Finding the crack suprised me, how could he crack it?? It's not like it touches the ground or anything, maybe when he jumps down onto the concrete or maybe Lola (Mutt) did something and broke it with her huge paws. We have no idea. Since we can't afford 200$ for them just to wrap it in something, or pay 500$ to get them removed, I'm praying it will heal fast and I might rub some salt water on it.. If he allows me to.

Well, I hope all of you sleep well! I'm off to bed! Here's a picture of George to fulfill your night!
"Zzz dreaming of walks and puppy treats.."

Oh! How could I forget! Before I sign off, today I met up with a good friend of mine at the dog park and FINALLY met her pup TJ! A Springer Spaniel!! And let me tell you, I got some funny moments!
And I got a few cute ones!
They seemed a little too exited over the grass....
"No peasants aloud!!!"

Neat fact! Lola is mostly Springer Spaniel, with about 4-6 other breeds in her!! Only the Springer shines through! And what looks like Bernese Mountain Dog??

Anyway!!! Good night all!! Sweet dreams and puppie kisses!!!

Sunshine and Swimming!

Today was almost like every other, except it's Wednesday so I went to the shelter today! Not very many dogs were there this morning, and that made me very happy!! There was this little boxer pup, and she was so tiny and just plain adorable!!!!!
When I arrived home, totally exhausted, chores were waiting for me.. woo..

Once the pain of washing dishes, and cleaning the patio was over, I was final able to relax.. Until I went swimming with the pups. Lola was all for it since she went swimming just yesterday, and Jack actually thought it through before doing a leap in. Sammi decided to hide inside since water wasn't her favorite object.
George on the other hand, he'd never been swimming, so I grabbed him and slowly walked him in. He loved baths, so maybe he'd like water? I wasn't compleatly wrong, he rested in my arms happily looking around.. until I decided to let him go, and he swam like a cow to the side. After a few more tires at that he knew where to go to get out, but once he was officially aloud to leave the pool, he didn't want to get back in. Same with the others.
I decided to put in a few laps, when was even more exhausting than I already was. I had my pink goggles on, and all of a sudden, George goes crazy! Then when I began swimming, he goes even more crazy!!!! He doesn't like it when people (or dogs) are swimming without him.
We've even had a neighbor completing about his insanity barking.. Teehee!!

Enjoy the rest of your week!!

Bugs!!!

After our morning crazy, and the sun finally came out, I decided to brush George. He hasn't been brushed in awhile and a few tangles had made their way to his fur. But not just tangles.. Fleas too!! Instantly I grabbed him and gave him a bath, where I searched him head to toe killing any flea I saw. He's now just a wet tangle.
Well.. Not as wet, because he seems to dry very quickly. His scratching has been taken down a tad, not very much. I'm hoping for just previous bites. I'm also in the process of washing my bed sheets, and once I'm done with lunch, the others (Jack and Sammi) will be given a bath too.
My mother stated she had ordered some fantastic flea stuff, we'll have to wait until it arrives.
If you see your furry one giving some scratches, don't hesitate to give them a bath!! It's summer, and that's when the fleas thrive because were outside so much!!

Raining Morning

This morning alone consisted of waking up to a wet Sammi (Miniature Schnauzer) in my bed, shaking her tail happily to be smelling like wet dog and be in my bed! Once I realized it was raining, and my ears could hear the rain dripping from the sky, every part of me refused to get up. But the whines of hunger escaped George's (Shorkie Tzu) mouth, as well as his need of using the bathroom. So, I force myself up and pour food in their bowels, just to find George and the others were hungry, but not right now. Then, I grabbed George's leash, ready for the rain, to see he no longer had intrest in going outside, but only sleeping. But since I was in the kitchen, I decided to make myself breakfast; Poptarts. How wonderful.

While I let my horrifiying breakfast cool, I notice Lola (Mutt) is being weird. I had forgotten humidity makes her itchy. So, like any dog does, she scratches her itchy back on the carpet outside.

Now, I'm sitting next to George, who can't seem to find a good position to sleep. And I'm slightly dreading when he will need to be walked in an hour or so. Wish me luck!

Intro??

Hello all,

I have decided to make this blog, to show off my beautiful dogs; Jack, Sammi, Lola, and George. They are in the order of age (if you wanted to know). I've never had a blog like this before, except once, but that was a horrible disaster, pray this won't end that way.

Animals have taken over my entire life, and I will continue to love them through out my life.

On this blog, I will post about my dogs daily lives and how weird they can be. So! Stay tuned;)
